Licensed Zumba® instructor since 2019, full-time mobile dance party host since 2021. This is what I do — not a side hustle.
The story
I started teaching Zumba® at a Marrickville community gym in 2019. By the end of that year, three different families had asked if I'd run a kid's birthday at their place. I borrowed a speaker, drove over, and the rest of the gym instructors took it from there.
Sunny Dance Parties has been my full-time job since 2021. Every party is run by me — same instructor, same energy, every booking. I don't sub-contract.
In 2025 I added the K-Pop Hunters format because my own ten-year-old asked for it and the choreography is honestly more fun than half my adult Zumba® classes. I built it from scratch — original routines, no licensed material — and it's now half our bookings.
