Space & setup
How much space do you need?
A 4 × 4 metre clear area indoors or outdoors. We've run parties in living rooms, backyards, community halls, school gyms and apartment-block rooftops. We bring our own battery power packs — no power point required.
How long do you need for setup & pack-down?
20 minutes either side. We arrive 30 minutes before the party start time and clear out within 20 minutes of finishing.
Do you work in apartments?
Yes — most often in building common rooms and rooftops. We bring volume-managed speakers calibrated for indoor venues. Bring us the building's noise rules at booking and we'll mix to them.
Can you do school events & corporate?
Yes — we run end-of-term events, scout groups and corporate family days regularly. Drop us a note via the booking form with the headcount and venue.
Weather & rescheduling
What if it rains on the day?
We move indoors with the same routines, scaled to the space. If the venue is outdoor-only and unusable, you can reschedule once for free up to 24 hours before the party. We'll text you a confirmation by the morning of.
What's your refund policy?
$50 deposit refundable up to 14 days before the party. Inside 14 days the deposit is held against a rescheduled date within 6 months. Full balance is only due 48 hours before the party.
Pricing
Are there any hidden fees?
No. All prices on the Pricing page are GST-inclusive. Travel inside the Sydney M7 metro ring is included. The only variable is +$8 (Zumba) or +$10 (K-Pop) per guest above the tier's base headcount.
Do you charge extra for travel?
Free inside Sydney metro. Beyond the M7 ring — Central Coast, Wollongong, Blue Mountains — we charge $1.20 per kilometre one-way from Marrickville. We'll quote up-front.
Can we split costs with another family?
Yes — combined parties are common. One booking, one invoice, you split it however you like.
Kids & safety
What ages do you cover?
Officially 5+ kids and adults. We've done plenty of 4-year-old parties where the room can hold focus — drop us a note about the youngest guest at booking and we'll advise.
What should the kids wear?
Anything they can move in — leggings, shorts, runners. We bring matching Sunny tees for every guest so outfits don't matter. No tutus required.
What about allergies?
We don't serve food. Glow accessories and tees are dye-tested and skin-safe — if you've got a sensitive guest, tell us at booking and we'll bring a hypoallergenic alternative.
Are you insured? Working-with-children check?
Yes to both — public liability to $20M, current NSW Working With Children Check, current first-aid certification. Certificates available on request.
Music & volume
How loud is it?
Calibrated for living-room and community-hall volume. Outdoors we can crank it; indoors we sit at around 70–80 dB measured at the dance floor — well inside neighbour-friendly.
Can we request specific songs?
Yes — the Classic, Ultimate, Hunters and Encore tiers include song requests. We'll need them seven days before to choreograph the moments.
Is the music age-appropriate?
Every track is reviewed for kid-appropriate lyrics. We use radio edits where they exist and skip anything that doesn't pass parent ear-test.
Booking
How far in advance should we book?
Most weekend slots fill 3–4 weeks ahead. School-holiday peaks (April / July / Sept / Dec) fill 6+ weeks ahead. We sometimes have a last-minute opening — call to ask.
How quickly do you reply to enquiries?
Within four hours during daylight in Sydney (we're a small team). Often inside one hour.
Can we meet you before booking?
Yes — happy to do a 15-minute video call with the birthday kid. Drop a note on the booking form.
